Youth across Canada can call or text 9-8-8 for free, 24/7 crisis support when they need it most. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with mental health, or in distress, trained responders are available to listen and help.
Kids Help Phone
Youth can access 24/7 support by texting 686868 or calling 1-800-668-6868 from a landline, cellphone, or VoIP service. When you call, you’ll be connected with a professional counsellor who can provide confidential support and guidance.
BREATHR APP
Offers easy and fun ways for youth to practice mindfulness and manage stress. Developed by the Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre and BC Children’s Hospital, the app provides interactive tools and breathing exercises to help improve mental well-being and build coping skills.
The Foundry
Offers health and wellness services for youth ages 12 to 24, providing access to a range of mental health, substance use, physical health, and social services. With both in-person and online support, Foundry helps youth connect to the resources they need to improve their well-being, offering confidential care in a safe, welcoming environment.
Youth in BC
Youth can access online chat services for support from noon to 1 AM. This service provides confidential, real-time help for mental health and emotional well-being.
