Join the national movement to help people struggling with mental health issues. As a donor, you will receive an annualized tax receipt via email following the end of the calendar year.

In-kind donations are an impactful addition to our fundraising efforts. Giving a product or lending your skills offer tangible support for our various fundraising initiatives and events.

Gift of Securities
When you donate securities directly to a charity, there is no capital gains tax—which means more money for the charity and a bigger tax receipt for you. The Kelty Foundation accepts gifts of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
HIGH STAKES EVENT COMMITTEE
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Event Chair
Oversee event planning and execution
Facilitate meetings and ensure timelines are met
Act as key point of contact for all subcommittees
2. Sponsorship & Fundraising
Help to identify, approach, and secure sponsors
Manage sponsorship agreements by distributing, and tracking signed contracts to ensure all sponsor commitments and benefits are documented and fulfilled.
Engage donors and manage fundraising efforts leading up to the event
3. Silent Auction & Prizes
Seek, collect, and catalog auction items
Coordinate item descriptions, values, and donor acknowledgments
Oversee auction logistics and presentation on event night
4. Marketing & Communications
Develop promotional materials (social media, email campaigns, posters)
Coordinate media outreach and PR
Take part in management of event page on website and ticket sales
5. Graphic Design and Print
Design all promotional materials including posters, social media images, event signage, sponsorship materials etc)
Liaise with printer to get materials printed in advance of the event
6. Décor
Develop event theme and décor plan
Coordinate venue setup and styling
Organize event flow, including signage and guest experience
Manage décor budget
7. Games & Entertainment
Plan and coordinate games, performers, and interactive activities
Book entertainment (live music, guest speakers, hosts)
Organize game logistics
8. Volunteer Coordination
Recruit and manage event-day volunteers
Assign roles and responsibilities (registration, games, auction tables, etc.)
Ensure volunteers are trained and supported on day of event
9. Event Logistics & Day-Of Operations
Manage event timeline, setup, and teardown
Oversee check-in, guest experience, and troubleshooting
Coordinate food, beverage, and catering logistics
10. Event Budget Manager
Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and revenues
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers
Meeting Schedule & Milestones
April 4: 1st meeting - Brainstorming & committee assignments
April to August: Monthly Meetings (April - August) – Progress updates from committees
Sept to Nov: Bi-weekly Meetings (September - November 20) - Finalizing details, troubleshooting
Nov 19: Final walkthrough & prep
Nov 20: Event day
Nov 22: Post Event meeting for feedback
