  • Donate—tax receipts provided

    Join the national movement to help people struggling with mental health issues. As a donor, you will receive an annualized tax receipt via email following the end of the calendar year.

  • Corporate Partnerships

    The Kelty Foundation’s partnership with quintessential health bodies across Canada has granted the organization wide-spanning reach. We will implement a customized strategy that complements your company while enhancing your reputation in the community.

  • Hold your own event

    Organize an event in support of The Kelty Foundation to change the tide for those living with mental illness. Engage your network and use what you're passionate about to fuel the movement.

  • Donate goods or services

    In-kind donations are an impactful addition to our fundraising efforts. Giving a product or lending your skills offer tangible support for our various fundraising initiatives and events.

  • Gift of Securities

    When you donate securities directly to a charity, there is no capital gains tax—which means more money for the charity and a bigger tax receipt for you. The Kelty Foundation accepts gifts of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Event Planner - overseeing all coordination

  • Oversee all event coordination aspects.

  • Develop event budgets, timelines, and production schedules.

  • Liaise with venue staff, vendors, sponsors, and participants.

  • Coordinate logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and catering.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.

  • Manage the setup, execution, and teardown of the event.

Silent/Live Auction Lead

  • Tracking auction items

  • getting logos and descriptions

  • inputting them into Zeffy

  • collecting, displaying and getting items to winners

  • Graphic Designer

  • Design visual content for the event, including logos, flyers, banners, and social media graphics.

  • Prepare final designs for print and digital distribution.

  • Work with printers and vendors to produce high-quality materials.

Printed Materials (working with graphic designer)

  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to develop and produce printed materials.

  • Coordinate the printing and distribution of all promotional materials.

  • Ensure all printed content aligns with event branding and messaging.

  • E-Communications

  • Create and send email blasts leading up to the event.

  • Draft post-event thank-you emails and updates.

  • Maintain an email database of participants, sponsors, and volunteers.

  • Ensure consistent and timely communication.

  • Performers and Stunt organization

  • Book performers and stunt participants for the event.

  • Ensure performers have the necessary AV equipment and rehearsal time.

  • Coordinate schedules and logistical details for all performances.

  • Sponsor coordinator

  • Ensure all sponsorship spots are filled.

  • Collect sponsor materials, including logos and bios.

  • Ensure sponsor commitments are met according to the sponsorship package.

  • Liaise with sponsors for any additional needs or clarifications

  • Decor lead 

  • Plan and coordinate the event's decor, including budgeting.

  • Oversee the setup and teardown of decorations on the event day.

  • Collaborate with vendors and volunteers for decoration logistics.

  • Ensure decor aligns with the event theme and branding.

  • Financial Coordinator

  • Oversee the event budget and track all expenses.

  • Collect receipts and ensure timely payments to vendors.

  • Manage donations and financial contributions.

  • Provide financial reports and updates to the Event Planner.

  • Video production - video about Kelty, coordinating video for QC

  • Coordinate the production of a video about Kelty.

  • Oversee the creation and editing of event videos.

  • Ensure videos are high quality and meet the event's objectives.

  • Work with the AV team to display videos during the event.

  • AV Lead

  • Ensure screens and AV equipment are set up and functioning.

  • Display sponsor logos, videos, and other digital content as required.

  • Coordinate with the performers and presenters for AV needs.

  • Heads & Tails and Paddle Organizer

  • Organize and manage the Heads and Tails game.

  • Ensure Heads and Tails participants have their flair to show they are playing

  • Ensure paddles are distributed and collected properly.

  • Track participant engagement and manage game logistics.


Day Of Volunteers:

Greeters

  • Welcome guests and provide event information.

  • Assist with check-in and registration.

  • Answer questions and guide guests to different areas of the event.


Heads and Tales sales

  • Promote and sell Heads and Tails game tickets.

  • Explain the game rules to participants.

  • Collect payments and distribute tickets.


Showrunner/Stage Manager

  • Coordinate the event schedule and ensure everything runs on time.

  • Manage stage transitions and introductions.

  • Address any issues that arise during the event.


Merch sales

  • Set up and manage the merchandise booth.

  • Promote and sell event merchandise.

  • Handle cash and credit card transactions.
