ConfiDANCE
School Tour Program

Join the Party with a Purpose!

We’re thrilled to introduce you to a NEW Kelty Foundation initiative—The Kind Mind ConfiDANCE School Tour Program, with Vancouver’s top kids DJ, Rock’N Beau!

This isn’t just another school dance; it’s a party with a powerful purpose. The ConfiDANCE Tour is here to connect thousands of families across Vancouver and BC with essential mental health resources, raising crucial awareness for both parents and children.

In the month leading up to your school’s ConfiDANCE event, our Kind Mind program engages teachers, students, and parents with mental health tools crafted by child psychologists, kindness challenges, and optional workshops. We’re proud to partner with leading mental health organizations such as BC Crisis Center to offer these enriching experiences.

Schools who dedicate the month to mental health are rewareded with an EPIC Dance Party, where DJ Rock’N Beau transforms a school gym into a celebration of kindness and mental well-being. As students rock out to music, participate in games, and win prizes, they’ll also learn valuable tips on maintaining their mental health, reinforcing the lessons learned throughout Kind Mind Month.

Best of all, it’s FREE for schools with limited spots available!

Event Overview

Imagine your students dancing, laughing, and learning mental health tips that will help them build resilience for years to come.

The Kind Mind ConfiDANCE is designed to unite your school community, spread awareness about mental health resources, and give children a positive experience of being kind to themselves and others.

Did you know one of the biggest preventative factors for mental health is having a sense of belonging and connection at school?

This is not just a dance; it’s A MONTH OF learning, and connection.

Schools who commit to our program are rewarded with an EPIC mental health party where kids can dance the day away with DJ Rock’N Beau leading the charge. Throughout the event, DJ Beau emphasizes the importance of kindness to oneself and others and refects on all the lessons they have learned over the past month. DJ Rock’N Beau keeps the energy high with great tunes, interactive prizes, sing-alongs, and dance-offs.

Don’t miss out on this chance to make mental health fun and accessible for students!

The Kind Mind ConfiDANCE is just the grand finale of a month-long initiative. In the weeks leading up to the dance, schools receive Kind Mind kits filled with resource packs, kindness bingo cards, and optional workshops to help embed the values of kindness and mental health awareness in students.

Most importantly, students will take home magnets and information sheets for parents on where and how they can access mental health resources for their children. Reaching parents in a unique and memorable way is one of Kelty Foundation’s biggest goals!

Dance-a-Thon Fundraiser

We’re giving kids the chance to be part of the solution!

The Kind Mind ConfiDANCE includes a Dance-a-Thon where students can raise donations through pledges (while igniting conversation around mental health in their community). They’ll dance their hearts out to raise money, with all funds supporting a pay-it-forward model allowing other schools across BC to access the ConfiDANCE program.

Prizes will be awarded for students who raise $50, $100, or $200. The classroom with the highest donations will win a pizza party before the dance!
