1 in 5 Canadians are affected by mental illness in their lifetime. Suicide is the second leading cause of death in youth. 70% of mental health CHALLENGES begin during childhood or adolescence.

Together, we can change this.

At The Kelty Foundation, we are committed to focusing upstream, building resilience and bridging the gap between mental health resources and the families who need them most.

Introducing the Kind Mind Program. An innovative, memorable, and unique way to get resources to parents and build resilience in children. Kind Mind Month is designed to engage students, educators, and parents/caregivers in meaningful conversations about mental well-being, reduce stigma, and amplify the awareness about resources available to families BEFORE families experience crisis and children enter the trickier years of adolescence.
